Members can be registered as Seller or Buyer. Seller will have all the privileges and Buyer will have most of the privileges except bidding, selling related activities.

DigitProject membership for Buyers is free.
For Sellers it is free for the first 24 months starting from 12^th February 2003 till 12^th February 2005.

Project Commission charges are to be paid by Sellers to Hantropos s.r.l.
A transaction fee of 5.5% (five point five) is due from the Seller and once the Buyer accepts a particular bid and the value determined Hantropos s.r.l. raises an invoice to the Seller and the same is to be paid by the Seller within 45 days.

During the registration member has to choose unique username and password. After successful registration, member will get mail. Membership will be activated, on member confirmation through mail link

You can buy services on DigitProject.net by posting a project (through project market place) and get bids from service providers. You can communicate to competitive providers before awarding the project/selecting the provider. You can communicate with buyer over Private Message Board. Also Project Message Board to address all the bidders.

You can also buy products from product marketplace. Before buying the products, you can view the product detailed information on digitproject.net. If you need more information and dealership, you can send enquiries from digitproject.net.

All the enquiries, messages between the channels will be transferred via integrated mailing system.

Buyers can maintain complete profile on DigitProject.net, which acts as virtual site for the buyer, reflects the major important information about the buyer. This gives more clarity to service providers while bidding. Apart from the managed information from buyer, digitproject.net maintains the buyer buying activity in terms of projects posted vs awarded.

Apart from the general information, buyer can maintain services information, products information. Buyer Products are not published on product market place, they will be published only on buyer profile view pages.

Also DigitProject.net enhancing the buyer rating policy to find a right buyer

Buyers can post the project through project posting form. Provide the complete details about the project like project category, name, details etc. Buyers can specify the budgets, bids not ranging between the budget boundaries will not be accepted.

Buyers can control the project contents and bid contents.

Buyers will be given the following options for effective selection
     1. Buyers can post the project only for certain domain of service provider by selecting a few providers by selecting the project as invitee project. Only invited service providers will be allowed to bid. Reduced huge bids and enables efficient and fast decision making
     2. Allows buyers to get sealed bids

Once the project is posted, buyer will be informed by digitproject.net via mail. Whenever bids are placed against buyer projects notifications will be sent to buyer.

Buyers also provided with a feature to upload any more technical documents which can't be posted on digitproject.net like graphics, excel sheets, word documents.

DigitProject.net provides a buyer control panel to all buyers. The buyer control panel will lists all the projects that are posted by the buyer with respective project status, no of bids. All the pre project awarding controlling process will be handled from a single project control panel and the entire post project awarding process will be handled from buyer control panel itself.

Pre Project Awarding Process Controls

Buyer can click on required project at buyer control panel, which brings single project control where from buyer can control the following processes

Close the project - Enables to pre-close the bid manually (bid will be automatically closed when the date expires)
Cancel the project - Cancel the project - No more bids
Extend the Project - Extend the bidding to get more bids
Change the project Description - You can change the project information or add more information for the project.
Shortlist a bid - Buyer can shortlist the bid
Decline bid - Buyer can decline the bid, with no reason
Award the project - Allows buyer to select the bid/seller
Communicate with Provider - Enables communication with seller, only buyer can start the communication channel. No Providers can ready buyers directly.

Post Project Award Processes Controls

Post Project Award Processes can be controlled directly from buyer control panel. This is applicable only to the awarded projects.

Communicate with Provider - Enables communication with seller, only buyer can start the communication channel. No Providers can ready buyers directly.
WorkPlace - a common work place for buyers and sellers to transfer the deliverables, specifications etc.
Payments - Handles all the payment processes between seller and buyer.
Feedback - Handles all the feedback processes between seller and buyer.

All the project controlling actions will be notified to buyers and providers. These notifications can be changed as per the user preferences.

Apart from the project control activities, buyer will be available with provider's information against their respective bids.

To see the bids on your project, click on the project name in buyer control panel. In project control window, below the project description and project controls, all the bids will be displayed. From the same place.

Project automatically closed on due dates. If buyer wants to pre-close the project before the due date, buyer can do the same from project control window. For this select the project from buyer control panel, which buyer wants to pre-close. Click on the 'Close' button in project control window.

Once the project is closed, buyer can't expect any bids from the project. But buyer can continue other controlling processes like canceling, awarding except no more additional information, extension.

Once the project is closed, all the bidders will be notified by mail. The notifications can be configured in preferences.

If buyer wants to cancel the project before the due date or after the due date, buyer can do the same from cancel. Click on the 'Cancel' button in project control window.

Project can be cancelled at any stage but not a long duration of awarding the project (15 days). Project can be cancelled after pre-closing, normal closing also even after awarding (but before 15 days).

Once the project is cancelled, buyer can't expect any bids from the project and also no more project control.

Once the project is cancelled, all the bidders will be notified by mail. The notifications can be configured in preferences.

If buyer wants to extend the project before the due date, buyer can do the same from cancel. Click on the 'Extend' button in project control window and to supply number of days to extend. Apart from open projects, no other projects can be extended.

Once the project is extended, all the bidders will be notified by mail. The notifications can be configured in preferences.

Buyer can add more information to the project at any time before the project closure. This can be achieved by selecting the project from buyer control panel, which opens a separate project control window. Buyer can click on 'Additional Info' button to add more information about the project.

Once the buyer adds the description, the bidders will be notified so that sellers can re bid with updated bid value and delivery plans. Additional information can be sent even through enclosures.

Buyer can decline any bid for any reason. The final decision of declination, short listing or awarding is up to buyer's discretion. To decline a bid(s) select the project from buyer control panel, go to the bid(s) to be declined in project control window and click on 'decline'. The same will be declined and can't be viewed along with other bids.

Once the buyer declines the bid, the bidder(s) will be notified so that sellers can re bid with updated bid value and delivery plans.

Buyer can award project against any bid. The final decision of declination, short listing or awarding is up to buyer's discretion. Buyer can award the project to multiple providers. To award the project against a bid(s), select the project from buyer control panel, go to the bid(s) to be selected and click on 'award'. The project will be awarded.

Once the project is awarded buyers and sellers can correspond from their respective control panels.

Once the buyer awards the project, the bidders will be notified with the project award note.

DigitProject.net provides messages boards communicate with each other (offline). The message boards will be two types one is project message board and the other is private message board. Project message board is a open message board, can be viewed by all members.

For each project, unique project message board will be opened by digitproject.net along with the project posting. Any member can post the messages on project message board to buyer asking more information or any other queries.

Responding to the queries is up to buyer's desertion.

Buyers can view the project message board from project control view and also from software market place. In the first case, buyer has to select the project name in buyer control panel and then click on 'project message board' in project control window. In the second case, buyer has to search the project or directly brow the projects (by selecting project from associated category) and click on 'project message board'. Sellers can view the project message board only from software market place.

By clicking the 'project message board', message board will be opened where all the messages posted till date were displayed with member names (who posted the messages). Member can also post the message from here.

If any new message is posted in public message board, buyer will be notified with an email. E-mail notifications can be set in preferences.

DigitProject.net provides messages boards communicate with each other (offline). The message boards will be two types one is project message board and the other is private message board. Private message board is only one-one communication channels.

Only buyer can open/initiate the private message board. Buyer can start one private message board against one bid. Each message board will be maintained uniquely.

Buyers can view/control the private message board from project control window (before project award) and also from buyer control panel (after project award).

Sellers can view/control the private message board from market place and also from selling control panel irrespective of project status.

Apart from this all the messages posted in private message board, can be seen from message alerts.

In all the above cases, click on contact link to open the private message board and to post a message. Once the message is posted on private message board, e-mail notification will be sent to other end.

The Message Alerts will update buyers/sellers, when there are new messages. These messages are classified into seller message alerts, buyer message alerts, product enquiries, and dealership enquiries. Unread messages are indicated in message alerts main page, also member can view complete history of messages received till now.

Enquiries will be handled in a slight different manner than messages, main enquiries page list out all the enquiries with status, seller can reply enquiry and close the issue.

Apart from messages, and enquiries members will be provided with notifications like, project posting, project bidding, project status etc.

Buyers can access the message alerts from user home page > buying activity > Message alerts.

Sellers can access the message alerts from user home page > selling activity > Message alerts.

Product enquiries can be accessed from user home page > product main page > product enquiries.

DigitProject.net will develop a secured payment gateway for International payment processing. Payment process applies only to awarded projects on digitproject.net and product orders placed.
Hantropos s.r.l. will charge 5.5% (five point five) of commission on each invoice raised on digitproject.net.

Generally the payment initiation starts from invoice rising. Seller can raise the invoice from selling control panel. For this seller should click on 'invoice' link against project in selling control panel. Seller can enter the invoice amount and can submit to the system. Sellers should not generate duplicate invoice for the same service, as digitproject.net automatically generated commission invoice against each invoice, for which seller will be liable to pay. To monitor the receipts against the invoice can be handled only through accounts main page.

Buyers can view, pay the invoices from buying control panel. Click on 'invoice' link against awarded project, to see the invoices placed on that project from seller. Buyers can view the invoices irrespective of status, but can pay only to the pending invoices.

All the invoice generation, payment invoice will be fully controlled by digitproject.net secured gateway. Buyers and sellers can have full transaction information for auditing purpose from account main page.

DigitProject.net provides a feedback system for both buyers and sellers. Buyers can rate sellers and vice versa. This feedback system allows members to know much about a buyer or a seller. What is the success rate of buyers, sellers? How is the co-ordination? Etc. This feed back system applies to only projects awarded through digitproject.net.

Existing feed back of buyers and sellers will be displayed in their virtual websites (profile view), in the projects against bids, against projects etc.

Buyer can feed back directly to seller, after successful execution of the project. In case of no feedback from buyer, seller can send a feedback request to buyer. Buyer will give direct feedback to seller prior to feedback request or can reply against feedback request. Till the buyers gives the feedback on the project, the same will not reflected on seller profile.

Buyers can give feed back or view feed back request from buyer control panel. To give a feedback or to view feedback request, click on 'feedback' link against awarded project in buyer control panel. DigitProject.net automatically searches feed back requests and shows if any, otherwise direct feedback form will be popped up where buyer can enter the feedback. Once feed back was given by buyer to user, buyer will expect reverse feedback from seller, once seller replies against buyer feedback, this feed back cycle completes for buyers.

Sellers can view the feedback received from sellers, through selling control panel. To view feedback or to send feedback request, click on 'feedback' link against accepted projects in seller control panel. DigitProject searches for existing feedback, if exists displays the feedback given by buyer and allows seller to respond to the same, and rate buyer. Through the same click seller can send the feedback request to buyers, in case of non-receipt of feedback from buyer.

For simple search member can enter the project name at search area in project market place page. For advance search member can select the 'advance search' from project market place area. Once search submission at simple search and advanced search, search results will be displayed in a separate page, with all the found results. From advance search members can search on name, category, project status etc. Members can select the project name from search results to view more information about the project, project information page.

Project Display page will displays the complete information about the project like summary information of bids (no of bids, average bid value - in case of open bid, time left), project information, status, bids information.

Also allow sellers to bid for the project. Project bidding is accepted only when the project is open.

This project display can achieve from many ways like from software market place. For more information see 'browse project market place' also from a search result, from seller control panel. From seller control panel click on project name, to view the project information and status.

Product Market Place is the market place where all the available products for sale will be displayed in a categorized way for easy finding. A required product can be viewed directly from a simple and advanced search. For more information about this please refer 'Search Product'. Member can click on the category (main or sub category) to view the products in that category. All the products exist in the category will be displayed from this single click from product market place. Products information page will be displayed with product simple description, product image. If member is interested to know more about the product, can click on 'more' link. If member needs any further information, enquiry can be send to seller, via digitproject.net. Or else member can place the order directly. Members can also send enquiries from product dealership if interested.

Members can buy a product from product market place by browsing the products. Search the required product or product market place. From the product information page click on 'order', which popup an order window where buyer can place the order to seller. The order will be distributed to seller via digitproject.net, seller will accept the order and reflects in seller/buyer product control panel to handle the rest of selling/buying activities.

Members can send enquiry for a product from product market place by browsing the products. Search the required product or product market place. From the product information page click on 'enquiry', which popup an enquiry window, where buyer can enter the enquiry information. Members can send dealership enquiry for a product from product market place by browsing the products. Search the required product or product market place. While posting a project, you will be filling the Minimum Bid Value/Maximum Bid Value.
Maximum Bid Value means the maximum value that you have allocated for this posted project and the system automatically, rejects any bids that are above the High Value filled in by you.

Minimum Bid value means the minimum value that you have allocated meaning that the system will not allow any bidder to bid for lower than your prescribed Low Value.
